Here's my "why," as in "Why Photography? What's so important?"

I grew up drawing, painting, playing instruments, and learning just about any art form I could get my hands on. I have always been tuned to noticing the small things like the way light passes through branches and makes pretty shadows on the ground or the way a person's eyes glisten in the golden sun.

That may sound cliche, but the point is,

I refuse to create basic images. My goal is to make art. To truly capture the soul.
